Athens section
I am 21 and have lived in Athens all my life. I read the Athens part of this book and thought it was perfect - really well written and proves that the author really has knowledge of life in Athens.

Perfect for young and/or the social, the places mentioned are well worth visiting and give a proper insider's tour to the real Athens, Greece.

European City Breaks
I bought this book because we are about to undertake a Mediterranean cruise to several countries. I found this a very handy guide for what we are planning to do in our short visits to the various cities. It is well illustrated and the description of the cities and the attractions within them are compehensively researched and described: it is adequate for both a short day trip or for a longer excursion. Obviously there are ommisions - some cities are not there but this is a relative minor problem and should deter others from buying it.

It has whetted our appetite for further trips and given us ideas of new locations.
