Synopsis
Winfield & Jolowicz on Tort is the leading textbook on the law of tort and a definitive, all embracing guide to the subject. Though centred firmly on English law, this edition continues to follow significant developments in other major Commonwealth countries and also gives full consideration to the impact of the Human Rights Act on tort law.
Customer Reviews
Too cumbersome
This is the typical cumbersome, doorstopper, text book that although is authorative, but sadly is inpeneratable due to the style and the weight of information relayed. This book is fine as a reference book for those with two or three years legal experience, but is definitely not recommended for those coming new to law. Instead, I would recommend the Oxford Textbook on Tort instead.
