Item not what is pictured
To agree with Vic's comment, the item I received is not what is pictured. Instead of an L-shaped plug like the photo and the original Garmin adapter, this one came with a straight plug. I could have found a straight one else where for less...
not an original product
the product i received was nothing like what was advertised instead of a Garmin charger i received a generic one. Site needs to make customers aware of this.

Buying this as a replacement cable for my hardly used nuvi satnav and hoping it proves a bit more durable than the original one, whose end fell off in situ, and caused the fusing of a whole panel of my car. Also, difficult to maintain a good connection in use. Have seen similar complaints on other websites, so must get round to complaining to Garmin direct, but no choice but to replace, in order to carry on with the actual nuvi, which is ok.
