Opposites don't attract in this chaotic comic caper as the unlikely foursome embark on an adventure neither couple will ever forget. And when Weatherfield hell-raiser Becky McDonald jets in from her honeymoon, the stage is set for mountain mayhem deep in the heart of Dracula Country.

In a one-off special for ITV DVD filmed entirely on location in Romanian, café owners Roy and Hayley are delighted when a face from their past invites them to attend her glamorous wedding to a footballer currently plying his trade in the Romanian league.Excited at the prospect of catching up with an old friend and combining the wedding with a few days in Eastern Europe, the culture vultures set off on their travels. But things quickly take an unexpected turn for the worse. Although problems with their flight mean they miss the wedding, the disappointed pair are looking forward to a few days of relaxation at a remote villa. Yet no sooner have they unpacked their bags than they are joined by loud and brash couple Verity and Glen, the groom’s aunt and uncle. A clash of personalities soon ensues as Hayley and Roy try to make the best of the situation. However, the noisy and vulgar antics of Glen and Verity prove too much and the couple cut short their trip. About to board the flight home, Roy and Hayley’s adventure takes another unexpected twist when they bump into a familiar face - Weatherfield hellraiser Becky Granger….

quite fuuny
being a fan of corrie i bought this video and was not disappointed it does not have a gripping storyline but the scenery and the fuuny quips make it a must. loved it

Coronation Street - Romanian Holiday
First class in every respect - well up to the accepted standards of the Manchester crowd. As well as showing some of the wonderful sights, sounds and people of Romania, which I recently visited, it shows just how superb the acting skills are of the two stars. I would recommend it to anyone.

The reason Corrie has endured has not only been down to the fine casts that have graced the street. The quality of scripts has always been high .Romanian Holiday falls into that perfected blend of humour mixed with fine drama and is well worth watching. I thought it was superb
