LED GU10
I would firstly like to say this is my first purchase of LED lights. I am quite versed in this subject and through work had been shown through a leading manufacturers show head office so knew what the potential of LED held. I took this knowledge home and subsequently purchased the bulbs for which you are reading this review.

In my flat I am unfortunate enough to have nine GU10 fittings in the kitchen and sitting room and a further 10 different (name escapes me right now, but it is the very pointy connection) in both bathrooms.
I have standby plugs so everything is off during the day and at night and am very keen to educate those around me about reducing energy wastage. Hence the foray into LED lighting.

I chose these bulbs to replace four standard 50W halogen bulbs. Firstly, let me say there is a difference, a noticeable difference, however the reassurance within my mind that each bulb is 3W as opposed to 50W has been sufficient for me to stomach the drop in levels of lighting.

My initial and overall concern before purchasing these LED bulbs was the potential drop in brightness. Desperately easy to fit, certainly no issues there, and thankfully these bulbs are no larger than the normal ones they replaced. Note however that when fitted flush into a ceiling you may have protruding nipples of LED bulbage as I have throughout the kitchen ceiling.

Overall certainly very happy with the bulbs, I am just waiting now for the 'same size' dimmable GU10's to replace the worst offending bulbs in the flat. Once these are available I shall sit back and watch the savings roll in.

Do it, try them, you wont be disappointed and at the very least, you have a whole new avenue to bore people with at dinner parties!

Excellent colour and looks quite equivalent in brightness to the 35w halogen G10 bulb.
Shame they do not seem to offer a bulk discount for buying 10 bulbs.
