"such sweet sorrow"4

Calling all true lovers of sweet soul music, The Manhattans are here!
Five guys from,(guess what) Manhattan, whose roots are deep in doo-whap but whose visions where of hope, longing, good times and heartache.
These wonderfully velvety voices combined in delicious complex harmonies, delivering quality songs for 30 years.
This collection features their most successful period of '73-'77 when
the beautiful warmth and mystery of soul gave way to the excitement of "punk".

"kiss and say goodbye", "wish upon a star", "hurt" are the best known tracks but this album is worth much more of a listen, as it bridges the gap between Motown/Philly and Boys to Men.

Best of the Manhattans Kiss and Say Goodbye5
This is the Best CD of all time every song is great and will leave you playing it over and over again a great Christmas Present and cheap at the price.
The Manhattans were one of the great soul bands its just a pity these bands don't
make the charts anymore. Great cd recommended 5*****
