Connect your slingbox to your network
If your Slingbox is not within network cable distance this product makes connecting it to your home network simple. It really is plug and play.
Would have expected wireless cababilty in the Slingbox straight out of the box so was a bit miffed to have to purchase this but it really does work seamlessly.

Oh-so-simple!
I first bought the slingbox Pro... which is how I found the slinglink.
I plugged it in followed the simple instructions and low and behold it worked.

Its a shame it doesn't transmit my internet signal wirlessly, but hardwiring is always going to win hands-down, so the little box moves around the house with me and as I have to plug my laptop power cable in for any sort of extended use anyway, its not a problem. Good, high-speed, reliable internet wherever I want in my house - hurrah..!

I have now bought 6 of these boxes (2 in a set) because I'm using them for all my other kit which run via the web (not just the slingbox) - so i have 1 slinklink connecting my router to the electricity supply, and 5 slinklink-ing to the appliances around the house.

I was a bit worried when I bought them as I was taking them to my house abroad and I know you have to plug them directly into the mains (ie. not via a power extension) or they dont work, but happlily a power adaptor plug does not affect performance.

I'm very impressed with the Sling family of products so far... (my sling catcher is proving the toughest nut to crack so far, but I am persevering..!)
