Then and now railways
HI - these books are quite old now , but interesting enough . I would presume that the railways will have changed yet again with the privatisation of recent times - and all the chaos which followed that and the Hatfield crash etc . For better or worse the railways are still there and this series is pretty good at alerting everyone to their considerable stubborness in refusing to roll over and die - regardless of vested interest in trying to finish them off systematically ! Worth every penny !
