Q: How do I choose the right size wall mount bracket for my LCD/Plasma TV? Is this Allcam PLB103M compatible with my TV?

A:

1. Check the back of your TV and find the four threaded holes (if there is no threaded holes or less then four holes, then the TV is not classified as wall-mountable);
2. Measure the horizontal and vertical distances between them (in mm); for example, horizontal = 400mm vertical =200mm;
3. Select a bracket whose supported max. mounting-hole pattern is larger than one you have just measured; but the overall size should be smaller than the TV otherwise the bracket will be stickout from the back of the TV;
4. You might also want to check whether the TV connections/ports is facing backward or not, if yes then do NOT select super slim wall brackets like PLB104 and PLB105 series because you might have great difficulties to get the cables into the slim space between the TV and wall.

Don't just look at the TV sizes mentioned on the item title, it is only for general references.

The Allcam PLB103 series have the following models:

• PLB103S: for 22-37" TV/Monitors;
• PLB103M: for 37-55" Plasma/LCD TV;
• PLB103L: for 40-60" LCD/Plasma TVs;
• PLB103XL: for 55-inch and larger TVs with distances between the wall-mounting holes larger than VESA 800x400

Want the TV to be very close to the wall? try the super-slim bracket PLB105M (not suitable for TVs with connection ports facing backward toward wall, otherwise it will be difficult to connect the SCART cables)

Want to install the TV in the corner? try the Swivel & Tilting bracket PLB109M

a must have!
this mount is superb!, i got this to wall mount my 37" samsung lcd tv, and it compliments it beautifully. its easy to mount with a variety of fixings, and once up you could hang a bus on it!! being black it goes well with most of today's newer generation of lcd/plasma tv's, you can pay a small fortune for this type of mount eleswhere so in my opinion this is a steal. my brother also has this, and hangs a 50" "pani" on it, again rock solid! BUY IT, AN ABSOLUTE BARGAIN!!

"Superb item flawless service. Goods arrived bang on time in excellent condition. The TV bracket itself is very well made and has clear instructions. It has all the fixings you need to attach to the wall, and is of very high quality (no messy welds or sharp edges).If you are half decent at DIY you should have no problem installing this. Just make sure that you don't drill through any wires in your wall. The tilt action gives you just enough adjustment to get the perfect viewing angle, without sticking out to far. I surfed the net looking for a cheap well made bracket and you wont find any better than this. Thanks allcam you saved me over £150 by not buying from a Superstore. If you have any doubts on mounting your'e newly aquired, LCD TV, then rest assured, the answer is here. All the bolts and washers you will need are here, along with a quality looking bracket , in matching black (looks better than the grey one's). The instructions are easy to follow , requiring only basic DIY skills to drill the wall and mount the TV.
Can I also add thet the delivery time from ordering was superfast, using a courier and not going via strikebound snailmail !!!
