LG TV Intelligent Sensor Technology built-in. View Larger

Intelligent Sensor
Intelligent Sensor optimises the brightness, sharpness, colour and contrast of the picture within your viewing environment. This helps to protect against eyestrain, and the TV will use up to 69.5% less power (TUV tested).

HD Ready 1080p
LG HD Ready 1080p (Full HD) provides 1920 x 1080p picture resolution Delivering incredible picture clarity and vibrant colours. This results in up to 5 times the picture clarity and detail in comparison to standard definition. 1080p television is the only way to fully experience the true potential of high definition gaming and Blu-ray, taking you even closer to the action.

Freesat HD
Freesat brings you over 140 great digital TV and radio channels. Favourites like BBC Three, BBC Four, ITV2, ITV3, More 4 and Film Four are all yours, with no contract and no monthly bills. Plus freesat offers up to 70 hours a week of HD from the BBC and ITV at no extra cost.

Invisible Speaker
The front bezel works as a speaker, replacing the normal speaker grill. With the Invisible Speaker System, the speakers are embedded in strategic spots underneath and around the front bezel. They enhance the audio by increasing the ‘sweet spot’ to give a wider and richer sound field. This speaker system provides a clean and fashionable design compared with traditional side or bottom speaker designs.

x3 HDMI
Connect your games console, blu-ray player or home cinema system through the 3 HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) ports for a true High Definition multimedia experience.

USB
The USB 2.0 feature allows you to connect a USB mass storage device to your LG product in order to play audio (MP3) files and display JPEG images.

AV Mode
LG TVs have three special modes (Cinema, Sport and Game modes) for enhanced picture and audio quality. These are easily accessible using the AV MODE hot key on the remote control. Cinema Mode - Watch movies with vivid colour, smoother motion and cinematic sound effect. Sport Mode – Takes you closer to the action by emphasising the main colours and reducing motion blur. Game Mode – Optimises the TV for computer and / or games console for a more dynamic gaming experience.

Energy Saving Recommended
LG TVs help you save money and the environment. An Energy Saving Recommended Integrated Digital Television (IDTV) can save around £7 a year and 20 kilograms of CO2 each year compared to a similar TV and set top box; they are amongst the most efficient in their class. There are over 16 million terrestrial digital TV receivers in the UK, and if these were upgraded to IDTVs it would save around £112 million in energy bills.

With energy-saving features such as ‘Video Mute’, mechanical power-off switch and ‘Intelligent Sensor’, LG has one of the largest ranges of TVs registered to the Energy Saving Trust’s Energy Saving Recommended scheme. To gain entry to the Energy Saving Recommended scheme products have to meet strict criteria to ensure that they are amongst the most efficient in the market place. LG 37" tv4
Good product overall the intelegent sensor is a bit strange as it seems to make the picture darker than me, my family and a lot of my mates think it should be so we use a custom setting most of the time. Easy to setup and get started with. Would have been good to have some connectors on the front like the usb port etc. Overall quite a good product.

    LG 37LF7700 Freesat TV3
Purchased this tv to replace a 37" Samsung, wanted built in freesat and full hdtv ie 1080p picture without another sat box.
Over this christmas period the wife has asked me to put the samsung back as she and i agree with her is unimpressed at the quality
of the picture and the sound.I never seem to be quite happy with the various modes of picture offered on the handset and end up manually adjusting
the picture. Another pain and not just confined to LG is the introduction of the graphic equaliser im not a sound trained or qualified engineer
and all i want to do is alter the base up a tad. Why am i looking at hz klz and mega zeds. Come on lg up base down base thats all i want.
When you buy this sort of product it should be on loan for a short period of time as you really cant audition a TV online or in a sales area in some other premises. Clearly I have seen a lot better in other models.
On the plus side the graphics on the menus and source buttons are very easy to follow and are some of the best ive seen.
switching between sources ie freesat, digital ,xbox etc really easy. handset feels robust and set out well.
But its the picture that counts and it just dont cut it.
