Customer Reviews

very disappointing1
I was looking forward to reading this book, but was very very disappointed! The plot is stupid and the characters are wooden. I would not recommend this book to anyone.

What an amazing book!5
What a truly gripping and exciting book. I thoroughly enjoyed every single page and cannot wait to read more books written by James Rollins. This book would make a really fantastic film and hope there is a deal in the pipeline if not there really should be. It is high action and tension with vivid details describing every turn of the page. The story line keeps you gagging for more until the absolute climax.
An definate MUST read! I loved it, but thats my humble opinion.

One little quibble at the beginning of the book - the "small mountain town of Breslau" was in fact the sixth largest city in Germany before the Second World War. If a fact as obvious as this is incorrect, it does call into question some of the other "facts" stated in the book.

While it didn't detract from the book, nobody from the UK who has seen Blackadder would have given their chief baddie the name Baldric. I kept waiting for the phrase "cunning plan" to appear...
