Synopsis
This is a stunning international thriller of psychology and conspiracy, espionage and prophecy, history and suspense. After someone he has under surveillance is slaughtered - literally - CIA agent Jack Dunphy is ordered to leave London immediately and return to the US, where he is dumped into a tedious desk job that seems calculated to make him quit. Determined to learn why, Dunphy uses all his CIA tradecraft on the agency that has turned against him - and discovers the fragments of a story that seems too wild to be true, providing him with evidence of a conspiracy that goes back to the time of Christ, a conspiracy so vast and deep and old that the CIA itself is but a cover for it. Embroiled in a plot far more elaborate than he ever could have imagined, with players too powerful and consequences too deadly, Dunphy must uncover the shocking truth - or die trying...

Like an alcoholic's last drink
This fades quickly in the memory.
This must have been a reasonable read, as I don't remember reacting negatively at the time. That said, I dont really remember the book, which must say something in and of itself.
There are a few inaccuracies in the book, but in general, they do not grate, and there is plenty of energy to carry the reader from incident to incident.
Don't rush out to buy this one, but if you feel like some reading-candy, this will keep your eyes occupied for a while.
Mundane Magdalene Cipher
Didn't enjoy this book at all!! I was half way through the book and it was going nowhere however , it did get pretty gripping with about three lines to go!!!
Bad Bad Bad
Not a good book at all. I'm not someone that is a big book worm and I do take an age to get through a book, but this sai I do enjoy a good read. For this type of book I would advise some one like James Rollins... Much better (I'd even put some of his books above Dan Brown!). As for this one, the plot was rubbish and the characters undeveloped. and the only positive this left me with was the hope that I could become an author one day.
