Customer Reviews

Average Read3
I have read a few of Dean Koontz books before and was looking forward to reading this one as soon as I bought it. The first chapter involving the crash was really gripping and I couldnt put it down but soon after I was getting bored reading about the 'super natural' character and indeed I was too skipping a few paragraphs here and there.

The family in this book are great and the adoptive daughter's character had a great attitude which made me laugh. As soon as I discovered the twist in the book I was extremely gripped and could not put the book down.

The climax was not very exciting and although I enjoyed reading some parts of it I can honestly say i do not think i would recommend it. It is certainly not up to his normal standard.

Good - but not his best!!3
I've been a big fan of Dean Koontz for a number of years and must admit to being a bit disapponted with this one. It isn't in any way bad, I simply found it average. I also found it difficult to stay interested in the anti-hero, and even found myself skipping pages on occasion to find out what happened to the characters I did care about. Good plot though, and as usual extremely well written.

KOONTZ IS THE MASTER !5
This book is yet another classic from the amazing Mr Koontz.
Something which i think is unique about a lot of koontz books is that not only do I quickly get to really like the good guys in the book but I find myself filling with glee at the antics and wit of the killer as well. The character vassago is so bad how can he make me feel so good?
This book had me engrossed from start to finish,
I would consider it a must read for any koontz fan and if you are not you will be after reading this !
