Synopsis
Tessa has just a few months to live. Fighting back against hospital visits, endless tests, drugs with excruciating side-effects, Tessa compiles a list. It's her To Do Before I Die list. And number one is sex. Released from the constraints of 'normal' life, Tessa tastes new experiences to make her feel alive while her failing body struggles to keep up. Tessa's feelings, her relationships with her father and brother, her estranged mother, her best friend, her new boyfriend, all are painfully crystallized in the precious weeks before Tessa's time finally runs out. "Before I Die" is a brilliantly-crafted novel, heartbreaking yet astonishingly life-affirming. It will take you to the very edge.

WHERES THE FILM???????????
Unforgettable.
I recently borrowed this book from a friend, and read it all in one go.
To be perfectly honest, a book has never made me as emotional as this one did. I laughed at Tessa's wittiness, was happy for her in her new-found love, smiled with her at her brother, then could barely read the final chapters through the tears welling up in my eyes and streaming down my face.
I could not recommend this highly enough.
Be warned - you will need a box of tissues. Also, set aside time to read it - you will not want to put it down once you have started. If you havent already read it, get it, read it. Now.
Uplifting, wonderful - unforgettable
Wonderfully written, you will not forget this book. I read this book in record time, and I thought it would be sad, but it isn't really, just makes you think. Buy this book you won't regret it.
