Looks great
We looked everywhere for dark wood safety gates to match our wooden floors and furniture and these are the ONLY ones we found.

The plus- they are very lovely looking. This was important to us as we will have them up for years. They are easy to operate once installed. There is nothing on the ground- so no trip hazard.

The minus- installing it on the stairs turned out to be a major operation. They are seemingly designed for a corridor or stairs with walls on either side- not a traditional Victorian set up. It requires a solid vertical surface to install the frame. As a result we needed to put a length of timber (which we painted white) onto the side of the bannister. However, we did manage eventually and are pleased with the hours put in.

We will be buying 2 more but not placing them on the stairs.

Safe and stylish, with an excellent locking system. Very, very, very easy to put together thanks to the straight forward instruction book. I did it during my tots nap time and still had time for a coffee!

Looks good,but not fail safe.
This gate looks contemporary that fits in with my decor,but has a rubbish design regarding the locking. My daughter is 13 months and has mastered how to unclick this gate. She has great fun opening and closing this gate. Will have to find another as my nerves are frayed at the thought of her falling down the stairs. Lindam should have made this like others where you have to lift the gate slightly before opening. A good look but dont take a chance on this gate if you dont want nightmares of your beloved child falling past this piece of tut.
