Well worth the money.4
Firstly, I love my diamond. Its slick, feels solid in the hand, and with a more free downloadable applications than can be counted for the OS, it all makes one very smart phone. But, and there always is a but, the battery is for lack of a better word, pants. If your an average user, wi-fi on 30% of the time, a few calls and texts and maybe a game, you'll get a day and half of life before a charge (if kept on over night too). When compared to other non-smart phones, it not too good.

If this annoys you like it did me and many more, than you'll be glad to find this little gem. With this battery, I can get around three days of life out of it, and if your a business user, using power hungry apps then it will easily see you a full 24 hours and maybe 48 hrs. The battery its self is the same surface area but twice the thickness and weight. This means you must use the supplied cover, which adds 50% to the thickness of the phone. On running the phone for a few weeks I can see no difference in performance or stability and charge time is about the same.

However, as with all little gems there are problems, and here its the feel of the phone. The cover is not great quality. Its not poor, just not great. It is totally black and matches the rest of the phone well, but on mine there is a little excess lip of plastic where it was cut. The diamond design is ok, not as good as the original. There is no silver plate where the camera lens is and there is no inner plastic cover to prevent dust getting inside.

The main problem is the feel of it in your hand. With the extra height of the battery there is more void space within the phone. This causes the phone to sound hollow when tapped, the extra thickness makes it feel a bit too chunky and it creeks making it feel cheap. I ignored this until I reverted back to the old battery and cover, and what a difference! It feels sleek again and I now use the old set up (being a student I can get away with low power use).

The bottom line. I'm glad I brought this product, if your a business user then its a must (or the desktop cradle). If I need extra power, when traveling or staying away from home, I have the option. As far as I know, the other 'official' extended battery is the same size and so will add depth.

For ten bob, its well worth it.

Not for O2 Ignito3
Just a quick note to say that the case does NOT fit on an O2 Ignito.

The battery still fits, so if you need a backup battery it's ok, but you will have to use it with no back cover.

Another note is that the quality of the cover is not amazing, it is very thin plastic and looks like it would easily crack if dropped. Also mine was black, not the green that is in the photo...

Disappointed1
Works fine for first month but after that the battery couldn't be fully charged. Battery showed full and finished charging but once removed from mains it's only half charged or sometimes less than that.
