Synopsis
Despite the title, this disc features two complete games, both of them thrilling victories over Newcastle United. The first is the classic 4-3 win in April 1996, which saw Stan Collymore score a last minute winner and dent Newcastle's Premiership title bid. The second match sees lightning strike twice in the corresponding fixture. Incredibly, in March 1997, Robbie Fowler heads home in the dying seconds to complete another astonishing 4-3 triumph for Liverpool.

At the time, for every Newcastle Utd fan the ending to this "magnificent" (Andy Gray) game was gut-wrenching but it is a credit to Liverpool that they went all-out to win this match as Newcastle Utd did. End-to-End stuff that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The result is not just 4-3, but an absolutely enthralling football match that IS the best game the premiership has produced since it began in 1993. This match is a DEFINITE buy for any football fan...and I support Newcastle.

Liverpool football club are the greatest club of all time,this lovely dvd combi features quite possibly two of the greatest games of football to have ever graced the game,well the first disc can certainly stand alongside such a claim,it was 1996 and a title chasing newcastle hot on the heels of rivals man utd visited anfield,the date was the third of april 1996 and a game no one could ever forget.
Newcastle united were managed at the time by liverpool legend kevin keegan,he had high hopes as he visited anfield,he left with nothing,a world class game of football followed,pace,width,great attacking flair and two classy sides having a right go at each other,goals galore obviously and then with the score at 3-3 and the ref looking at his watch john barnes saw something in side of his eye,he passed to stan collymore and whack,we won it,keegan collasped on the boarder in front of him,anfield went wild,what a night,i will never forget that night.
The second disc is the following years rematch,the odds of the score being the same were 1000-1 in some bookies,it couldnt happen again,could it?yes it did,we beat them again,arguably not as good a game,but a lovely dvd set to have,the greatest team in the world are liverpool and this is a fine testament to that.

The Greatest Premiership Game Ever
If you are a true blue of Premiership, I think you must not foreget this game evwn you are not Liverppol or Newcastle fans. Totally score 7 goal and can't let your heart clam down until the end of the game. And you can see the different player in Liverpool before have been change as present. Robbie Folwer with Collymore & McManaman aren't powerful than Houllier's sideline now? Anyways, every Premiership supporter must be keep this DVD in home.
