Quite simply a labour of love
For those of us lucky enough to have discovered Taplin when he first published his analysis of the seasons Two Year Olds way back in the mid-80s, the arrival of each new book is eagerly awaited. Quite simply, Taplin provides the most definitive analysis of the seasons crop of two year olds, with his selections based upon his own pedigree analysis and on the expert advice of the trainers. The 2008 edition included 1600 two year olds, including 2000 Guines winner Sea the Stars and the Epsom Derby favourite Fame and Glory. Other features include; "Fifty To Follow; The Bloodstock Experts Mark Your Card; a Stallion Reference and A Racing Trends Guide" that analyses the winners of the leading two year old races.
