In Rugby Tales, Lawrence Dallaglio recalls with affection, honesty and razor-sharp humour, the classic behind-the-scenes stories that have previously only been shared within the world of international rugby.
Lawrences tales come from the dressing room, the pitch (featuring the far-from-stirring speech by a Lions captain as he and his team stood underneath their own post for the umpteenth time), the bar and the after-match dinners (where the mother of an All Black legend was described by an England captain to the player himself as an ugly old bird) and all reveal the hilarious side of rugby that the fans rarely see or hear.
All the rugby greats feature in the stories Lawrence tells, ranging from the heroes of the amateur era to the stars of the modern game. If the stories werent true, you wouldnt make them up. You wouldnt be allowed to!

Very Funny!
I have only just got to Chapter 1 of this book and have already been howling laughing at some of the stories Lawrence tells. If the rest is as good as the first 20 pages or so, I am in for a treat!
Dallalio's Rugby Tales
This book is a present for my son. I have not read it, although I have heard (from another son) that it is very good.
