A handy reference for new coaches
Bought this to assist in coaching a young team. Found it really useful as set comprises 3 dvds, broken down into 3 levels - beginner, intermediate and advanced. Each DVD starts off with warm up exercises and then moves on to specific skills and drills. Each skill is explained and demonstrated from a variety of camera angles so if you learn better visually than by listening this is the DVD for you!! If you are new to coaching or looking after a team you will find this set really useful for giving you ideas to try at practise sessions. There is also a section for Goal Keepers. Have tried quite a few of the suggested drills with my team and it has certainly helped to develop their skills and given them the understanding of what they need to do and the effects of doing it! The only downside is that the DVD format isn't split into sections so that you can skip sections on your remote - you have to FF or RWD through it all - minor detail but perhaps one for their next set!
