Good overall introduction3
This book covers all forms of inline skating, divided into fitness, recreational, speed, aggressive, touring, skate-to-ski, off-road, and everything in between. Each section is well written and illustrated, with parts written by an expert in that field. As it has such a broad base, it doesn't cover any one of them in any great depth. There are guides to various advanced skills, but is not by any means comprehensive. For instance there's a tutorial on Reverse Power Slides, but skating backwards, a key skill in advanced skating, is briefly mentioned as what it involves rather than how to do it.

If you already skate, or you're interested in broadening your knowledge of inline skate related sports, or researching the world of blading as a beginner, this is the book for you. If you want a feast of information on how to become a more advanced skater, you may find this a light snack.

In Line Skating5
This book is meant to be an advanced book, however it is also useful for a beginner like myself. It covers Dialect and breaks everything down so you understand it better, it also explains moves very clearly.

It covers nutrition, workout benefits, and even your diet - this book has the lot even down to the pictures........it also covers all the different kinds of races plus the key skills.
