	In Search of Captain Zero: A Surfer's Road Trip Beyond the End of the Road by A.C. Weisbecker Buy new: £6.76 / Used from: £3.04 ACW's first novel Cosmic Banditos is a classic - if you haven't read it you should. This is also very good + about surfing. Not a happy book though.
	The Perfect Day: 40 Years of "Surfer Magazine" Buy used from: £25.00 No one buys Surfer mag to read - it's all about the photos and this book is the same. BUT - the pics really are very good!
	Dogs of Winter by Kem Nunn Buy new: £6.96 / Used from: £0.01 It seems that surfing is not an easy subject to write about convincingly, but this is great. This is not the sort of book I would read without its surf connection, but if you surf you will dig it.
	Tapping the Source by Kem Nunn Buy new: £6.98 / Used from: £0.01 Nunn's first surf novel - just as good as it's successor...kind of like SE Hinton goes surfing.
	Caught Inside (Lonely Planet Journeys) by Daniel Duane Buy used from: £1.99 Only for total surf-heads this one, but if all you think about is swell then this is a pretty good read.
	Tijuana Straits by Kem Nunn Buy new: £7.19 / Used from: £2.01 Three Kem Nunn books in one list? Is this because he's a great writer or perhaps becuase he's one of the few novelists that writes about surfing? Well, maybe a bit of both, but this is a good read.
	Riding Giants [DVD] [2004] Buy new: £5.48 / Used from: £4.04 Excellent history of Big Wave Surfing
	Step Into Liquid [DVD] Buy used from: £6.27 Occasionally lurches into spouting semi-spiritual surf-mumbo-jumbo, but a great film nonetheless
	Dogtown and Z-Boys [DVD] [2001] Buy used from: £3.00 Utterly inspiring movie about little skate/surf rats in California in the late 70's / early 80's. The film version Lords of Dogtown is OK too, but this is the one to see.
	Billabong Odyssey [DVD] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £5.50 More big wave madness from the usual no-fear crews
	Surf Science: An Introduction to Waves for Surfing by Tony Butt Buy new: £13.51 / Used from: £27.46 Not sure it will improve your surfing, but gives you plenty to think about in the line up.
