Beat the traffic jams!5
Whether you want to plan a route to avoid all or part of the motorway system around London or want to be able to work out alternatives in case a traffic jam alert occurs or roadworks are planned then I would recommend this map. It has saved me hours!

Colourful and easy to read, it gives road numbers clearly and also many road names - a real boon when those signs suddenly vanish.

Its size has the advantage of enabling easy route planning in and around a great part of the Home Counties; it is also a slight disadvantage in terms of manageability when on the road but careful folding makes it workable.
