| Longridge have been established in the framing business for over 20 years and we know just about every model and make of cutter that has been on the market in that time. By 2002 we felt that the mountcutters currently available were simply not good enough. The framing trade was well served with a range of excellent products but at prices way beyond being acceptable for those outside the trade. Tools to cut mounts for the DIY markets were woefully inadequate, required much practice, considerable pressure (even brute force), dexterity and much patience to achieve just mediocre results. There were a few exceptions of course, but in general cutting your own bevel edged window apertures was always a challenge and a job that was usually put off until the last moment!
