Synopsis
A man who is held captive for fifteen years and whose wife is murdered is released suddenly and given money. He is asked to discover why he was held prisoner. If he finds the answer his kidnapper will kill himself. Korean dialogue with English subtitles.

brilliant film, terrible picture quality on blu-ray
i purchased this film on blu-ray and to my dissappointment found the picture quality to be terrible, i dont know why its so bad maybe i just got a bad apple off the production line. i have the standard dvd and the quality is better. im currently returning it and will purchase another copy to see if its the same. i will let you all know weather it was a one off or to avoid it.

Good film, but THE worst Blu-Ray I've ever seen!
Fantastic film, but be warned this is without doubt one of the poorest Blu-Rays I have ever seen. Tartan have put the format back by years! Very poor. I feel cheated as I can't help feeling that there was no quality control over this. A rip-off. If buying the film, it would probably be wiser to get it on DVD. I will be sending my Blu-Ray back, as Tartan must not be allowed to get away with such a shoddy product. Shame on them.

Excellent film...
Just wanted to clarify this film is Korean not Japanese.
Oh, and to confirm it is an excellent classic!
