This is one of our favourite kits, probably the most ' Tolkien ' -ish and can be adapted to suit your gaming board. It's reasonably difficult to assemble but with care you'll get great results. Note the figures are GW standard scale, so this is a large kit, and makes a real centrepiece for LOTR gaming. Supplied unpainted and unassembled, figures and scenic bases shown for scale purposes and not included in kit. PVA glue (not included) is needed to assemble the model. Includes 384 (that's three hundred and eighty-four) parts.

Firstly this should not be categorised as a "toy" as this site would have you believe, but rather a kit to be used for either hobby or educational purposes- combining these kits together can offer truly endless results for historical enthusiasts.

It is difficult to comment on the product pictured as this is only a diagram of the end result of many hours of labour. The pieces, once layed out and organised, are of a superior quality to using cardboard or plaster, having been meticulously cast for the best possible result. The material is durable but rather small, so try not to lose anything or let the family pet eat it etc.

In conclusion, for the price (and compared to the cost of otherwise importing and purchasing each mold individually from the US) this is fantastic at keeping a hobbyist busy. It should be noted though that, as with the Games Workshop range, for the best results pictured, much time and effort will be required so perhaps not a product for a complete amateur.
