Been waiting for this one for a while4
I waited for this expansion pack to come out for some time as I love decorating my sims homes with lots of flowers and plants, but there was so much more than what I expected. The new houses you get with this stuff pack are beautifull and gave me some great ideas for creating future houses. Also there are 8 new hair designs, a chanderlier, fences with flower pots on them, double staircases and a few more bits and bobs.

Overall I recommend this to fellow simmers who wish to add more to their gardens and elagent decorations to their sims homes.

May cause problems?2
I`ve always been keen on the building side of The Sims 2 and thought this Mansion and Garden Stuff pack looked like a treat, I bought it as soon as it was released. It installed without problems and it has taken till today for me to realize there actually may be a problem with this expansion pack. I tried to make a coffee Bar and could not find the espresso bar in the buy catalogue(which comes with the University expansion pack I`d installed earlier). I then realized all espresso bars in all the lots I`d placed them were missing.
I searched some Sims 2 related forums online and found I wasn`t the only one experiencing missing content after installing this expansion pack!
Maybe there is an update patch on the way to sort this out.... I hope so....else I`m afraid I will have to uninstall it. I`m not going to fork out cash for what essentially seems to be a bug on the main Sims 2 game. Apart from that....
The items found on Mansion and Gardens are quite beautiful...from ceiling fans to flower laden fences. The new roofing `angle` tool is useful too. I would have given this expansion four stars if it were not for the buggy aspect and manner it has affected my game`s content
Here`s hoping to an update patch soon!

Probably the best Stuff Pack4
First off, I have had no problems at all with this pack. It installed fine and quickly, and it has not screwed up any aspects of my game at all. To those having problems, I recommend you check any custom (i.e. downloaded) content, especially hacks and mods, that you may have - in 9/10 cases of game trouble after new packs this is the cause!

This is a good pack. It provides many new items and things related to build mode, especially gardens, which until now have been a bit neglected. It also has some useful items, for example solar panels and wind turbines, which will reduce the bills your Sims get - love the pro-environmental propaganda there EA!

Overall, good if you're keen on building houses. Personally I wouldn't pay more than a fiver for it though.
