Product Description

When Julie's dog disappears into a mysterious garden, Julie follows him - and finds herself in a beautiful garden-within-a-garden where the roses grow like splashes of paint and a Japanese bridge bows over a silent pool. There she finds not only her dog, but also Claude Monet. The famous artist introduces her to his work and his garden, giving her encouragement that the young would-be artist will never forget. Set against the romantic, world-famous backdrop of Monet's garden at Giverny, the story is accompanied by reproductions of the artist's most celebrated paintings and a biographical note on Monet.

The Magical Garden of Claude Monet5
This is a fantastic colourful book. My 6 year old daugher has read it several times along with other books from the same author. It provides a simple introduction to the artist for children and provides wonderful illustrations. I would highly recommend it.

Lovely book5
Lovely story and beautiful illustrations in the style of Monet. This series of books is great for getting young children interested in art appreciation. My daugher aged 7 really loves this book.

Delightful and picturesque little story.5
An adorable little story, much appreciated by young readership. Dreamy, atmospheric, delightful and memorable images, inspiring curiosity regarding the impressionists and that time in history.
The fold-out section is a lot of fun and the colours used throughout the book are pretty and diverse.
The storyline is simple and well-rounded, creating the effect of a real-life and educative journey through a picturesque landscape. Neat little philosophical message about working well and being patient. Julie learns the importance of nurturing seedlings as well as art, metaphorically cultivating her garden.
