Synopsis
For millions of women counting the calories and fighting the flab, this book brings good news - they don't have to do it any more. It shows that it is possible to break free of the guilt trip and the diet trap, and start to feel happy with your body the way it is. Mary Evans Young, who is Director of Diet Breakers, and founder of International No-Diet Day, suggests that if you can change your mental attitude you can change your life. Tackling the insecurities and pressures faced by women about dieting, she offers an alternative. With many case-histories, and practical help and advice, the book shows that you can be healthy, feel great, and reject the tyranny of thinness for ever.

And Now For Something Different!5
So often when you buy books with titles like this, you open them up and they say "this is not a diet book" - then 20 pages in they start telling you what you should/shouldn't eat, when, and how much!
This one is different - it takes you out of the dieting mindset, and back into just living - free to focus on other things.
It is easy to read and re-read, and it makes sense, but never in a patronising or sacharrine way.
I could weep when I think of the 20 years I have spent, between the ages of 16 and 36, dieting, and hating my body. The hours reading diet books, magazines and plans. Counting calories, points, fat units. Time I could have spent reading, having fun, learning. What a waste of a life!
Well no more. I am getting back my life, and loving it!
It takes a while to get out of the "Im not good enough as I am" way of thinking, but if I can do it, anyone can.
Get this book - you wont regret it!
