    Synopsis
    A musical double feature about the stories of two orphans: OLIVER! is based on the Charles Dickens classic Oliver Twist and ANNIE, based on the stage-play by Carol Sobieski. In OLIVER!, the orphaned Oliver escapes to London from a dreary workhouse and is taken in by a gang of young pickpockets who work for master thief Fagin while learning their trade. When he's falsely accused of stealing from the gang by the fearsome Bill Sikes, Oliver begins to realise that he has more friends than he had thought. In ANNIE, the irresistible orphan of comic-strip and box office fame comes to life in this acclaimed musical production. In her search for her true parents, Annie has many adventures and encounters a number of colourful characters.

    Two in one5
    We had previously owned both musicals on video, so it made sense to have them on DVD, at a great price too. They are superb, timeless productions and we love watching them.

    Brilliant films, very good quality. Before I owned these DVD's, I had the box set on video, I was so fed up with the poor sound and picture quality I decided to purchase them on DVD, and I'm so glad I did, these are a must have.
