'Dr. Seuss ignites a child's imagination with his mischevious characters and zany verse.' The Express

About the Author
Theodor Seuss Geisel -- better known to his millions of fans as Dr. Seuss -- was born the son of a park superintendant in Springfield, Massacussetts, in 1904. After studying at Dartmouth College, New Hampshire, and later at Oxford University in England, he became a magazine humorist and cartoonist, and an advertising man. He soon turned his many talents to writing children's books, and his first book, And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street, was publislhed in 1937. His greatest claim to fame was the one and only The Cat in the Hat, published in 1957, the first of a successful range of early learning books known as Beginner Books.

Good package/Fantastic books5
A good way to buy a fantastic collection of books.

The books are good quality, hardback miniatures - very nice.

I loved the Dr Seuss books when I was a child and now I love them as a parent (although I recognise that not everyone does). They very clever and well constructed but most of all they are fantastic fun to read aloud to a small child.

Obviously some of the books are better than others but there are no duff books here. The Cat in the Hat is a classic tale of order and chaos. The Cat in the Hat comes back is more of the same but different - introducing cats A to Z - it is a personal favourite. Green Eggs and Ham is a wonderful story about how you should not dismiss things that you have not tried,

My son (4) is currently fascinated by rhyme and he loves these books, very are currently working through them as bedtime stories. They are a little longer than I would ideally like (for a bedtime story) but once you start time flies.

You cannot go wrong with these books!

Print is WAY TOO SMALL!!!2
They're Dr. Seuss, so of course the stories and rhymes are GREAT, but the print is incredibly small so they are of no use for your child to read along. BUY THE FULL SIZE BOOKS!!! Not worth the savings.

some books writing too small4
These books are absolutely great fun. If you have ever tried to read fox in socks out loud you will no what i mean, if not try saying red lorry yellow lorry a couple of times and then mutiply it by ten. The only issue I have is that as the books go on the storys get longer and as a result the writing gets smaller, however it is still readible and i suppose that is why it is called a miniature library. I am just glad I got them and my son feels exactly the same a great buy
