Most fun we've had with a book so far!
This is a terrific book! You can read it 100 times (and you will, believe me!) and find something new to love about it each time. The delightful rhythm of the words makes for enjoyable reading. We love the illustrations too-fun to look at and so extremely detailed that you can find something new in them each time.

The words are so memorable that we sometimes walk down the street, and with each step, recite a line from the book (i.e., one shoe, two shoes, I need NEW shoes!!!). My daughter is 2 1/2 and she and I recommend it heartily.
