A pain to assemble
The castle took nearly Three hours to assemble. The scenery is made up of stickers (about 50!) and cardboard slots. Once you have spent what seems like an eternity snapping the various bits of furniture out of the plastic you are well on your way.

Once made the castle does look nice and has some lovely features... the clock chimes 12 and lights up, the cupboards and drawers open and the there is a little lift for the mice. My little girl loves the chair swing that attaches to the conservatory/glass doors and Jac and Mary the little mice figures.

The durability isn't great! a couple of pieces broke as we tried to get them out of the plastic and the tower with the clock often falls off the castle. The legs on the tables and chairs fall out easily and and because they are so flimsy they fall over, The Disney prince dolls don't really sit on the chairs properly (barbie princes fit better as their legs bend a bit) The princesses can be perched... but fall off easily. Also the conservatory bit with glass doors falls off. My little girl gets really frustrated when this happens as the bits are fiddly to put back together and needs help. Having said that she absolutely loves it and plays with it every day, but you would expect a bit more for your money given that it's got the Disney branding on it...
