This collection "Sizzles"
I watched 'Breakfast' with my wife who then bought this for a present for me. As we had seen the first one we watched the rest in order as I remembered them from watching as a child and Roman Holiday was the one I remembered most fondly and thought best to save for last. I would only recomend watching Sabrina as it makes Funny Face look better and Roman Holiday outstanding.

This is how I rank these films (my wife is in agreement)
1. Paris When It Sizzles - the charm and humour are as good as in any film I have seen. This gem took us by surprise and has more of everything than all the other films. More story, more humour, more charisma, more stars. It quite simply stole our hearts as a beautiful love story.
2. Roman Holiday - everyone should have a holiday like this. It has a wonderful whirlwind romance and shares alot of the same qualities as the 'Sizzles'.
3. Breakfast at Tiffany's - right up there with with the other 2 but as much as it elates at times at other times it seems wanting. Can appear to stutter and drift but over all leaves you happy and satisfied at the end.
4. Funny Face - Fred Astaire is one of my favourite actors as is Audrey Hepburn, yet as with 'Breakfast' it drifts and stutters yet has some wonderful moments and overall a good rainy afternoon film to enjoy in the company of a beautiful companion.
5. Sabrina - am I correct in thinking this got an Oscar, or at least a nomination. Terrible film which could only be thought of as edgy due to the Humphrey Bogart character being an absolute bounder. Very little charm and Bogart is an overated actor with no charisma. I can understand why a remake was thought to be good idea as this film had plenty of room for improvement yet that even failed.

Some of her best films are collected together here at a good price. The only one I am less enchanted with is Sabrina (B&W, Mono), but my wife likes it.

Breakfast at Tiffanys, Roman Holiday (B&W, Mono), Paris When it Sizzles (Mono) are all wonderful and bear watching time and time again, and Funny face always seems fresh after not having seen it for a while.

I'd have preferred the collection to have included Two for the Road, or How to Steal a Million, or Charade, instead of Sabrina.
The extra features on Roman Holiday (Collectors Edition included in this set) and Funny Face are worth a quick look.

The technical quality is generally very good, and you tend not to notice the black and white pictures and mono sound on some of them after a few minutes of her cinematic magic.

a bargain box set !
this box set has 5 dvd films, 5 post cards and a book of breakfast at tiffany's that audrey hepburn has made her notes in (obviously a copy but excellent reading !). this is a bargain box set, i was very happy with my purchase, the box not only keeps the whole set together but looks good too. would make an ideal present for an audrey hepburn fan ! excellent value for money.
