Lovely To Look At, Practical In Use. Buy It!
I bought this Almond Roll Top Breadbin along with the canisters and 50 litre bin from Argos, but the price is around the same as Amazon.

My Mum - especially - has had a variety of breadbins in her lifetime and I don't remember any of them being very good. Currently, she has a wooden job from M & S but wood ain't modern is it, let's be honest?!

This is the reason I have plumped for an almond steel version from Brabantia as it is a well-respected company and I thought the colour was more unsual than what most people might go for. Do not let the colour put you off as it is neutral and will go with anything...trust me.

Is it any good? Well, to be honest we only place the white Warburtons loaf in there (blue and white wrapper, you get the idea) but we have been known to have a full, large loaf plus half of another Warburtons loaf that we have forgotten about, in there at the same time. So your guess is as good as mine whether or not that is a large interior for a breadbin.

I like the shiny edges to this bin and it is dampened by plastic feet on the inside...but only at the back, not the front when you shut it. This is a shame as there is scope for this but no-one has thought of it. When my husband shuts this breadbin I often jump out of my skin if I am not paying attention to the noise. But, having said that, the breadbin is about 14 months old now and is like new so I can't complain. It is also extremely easy to clean both the inside and out as I hate crumbs! No fingerprints EVER show up on the exterior which is the same with the canisters and waste bins.

Treat yourself and buy everything "almond"...safe in the knowledge that all products are guaranteed for 10 years!
