Fforde, through and through
After borrowing Life Skills and Living dangerously, my local librarian encouraged me to take advantage of Fforde's new book just ordered by the library and not gracing the shelves yet, the book in question was Artistic Licence.

As ever I thoroughly enjoyed Katie Fforde's, sharp observant writing. No woman in this day and age can fail to be won over by a love story like Artistic Licence. However Fforde's books always have something more than this, they deal with the character's everyday problems and difficulties while managing to have a heart warming love story entangled within a woman's hectic everyday life.

All readers will fall in love with Rory and become anxious with anticipation as to how his art gallery will turn out. He may not be as sexy and charming as David from Living dangerously but he has his own qualities and every woman lucky enough to read this book would love to be in the leading ladies situation, just for that chance to have a prince chraming like Rory to sweep you off your feet.

It only took me 2 days to read, I couldn't put it down. Once you've prised your fingers from the pages of this book for long enough, go down to your local library or bookshop and get your next fix of Fforde.
