Superb Watch
I bought this Casio Dbw-30D-7AVEF Ana-Digi watch for my 13 year old son to replace a similar Casio watch he had had for 5 years. The previous watch had 2 problems, a forever breaking resin strap and dodgy mode and function buttons. He loves the new watch! It has a superb metal strap which can be adjusted easily if you have a small (e.g. watchmaker's) screwdriver or a bradawl. The look, quality and feel of the watch is no less than watches costing considerably more and of course it's a Casio with plenty of functions as you'd expect. Say no more. It's a bargain....go and buy one.
Not bad
As usual great service from Amazon. The watch isn't bad, but it doesn't look quite as hot in the flesh as it does in the picture. The digital screen is much darker than the glossy shot shown in the sales literature. It is however very good value at twenty three pounds, but would have been unhappy to pay full price of 40 quid for this watch.
Yet another Casio
Have had Casio Data and Calculator watches for 20 years - took until now to realise how little I used the calculator but how useful it is to have the data bank for phone numbers, account numbers and pass codes. This is a smart looking watch. Nice change to have the hands giving the time but the digital section is limited in that it can only show three letters or five digits before scrolling. I have a slight hearing impediment and can't hear the alarms but my wife can hear them just. The yellow light I found rather pointless - my 15 month old grandson's impressed by it but in the dark you can't see the hands or the digital display with it. Other than that I do like it and will get used to it - I've only had it 3 weeks.
