Great Shaver!
I've been using this shaver for about a week - and I really like it! I used to use a regular foil dry shaver - was a quick way to shave, but irritated my skin and left it with a burning sensation - something that only got worse as the heads wore out.

Wet shaving is good - but it's time consuming and difficult to get a _consistently_ close shave, and even more difficult to do it without cuts.
One problem I found with wet shaving is that to avoid cuts I have to shave /with/ the direction of growth - but that doesn't give the closest shave. Shaving /against/ the direction of growth gave me lots of little cuts every time.

This Philips shaver is great - it's much close than my previous foil shaver, and whilst it doesn't get you 100% smooth, I do find it produces almost the same results as say, a Mach3. Definately more consistent than wet shaving aswell.

The lotion seems to help too - the condition of my skin is starting to improve - no more burning sensation, rashes and little bumps and spots are beginning to heal up, and fade. Although it takes a little more time than a regular dry shaver - it's worth it.

It feels like a solid, well built quality product too - and with a 2 year guarentee, you can't fail. Shop around online for the cheapest source for the lotion / gel packs. I would highly recommend this product.

a refreshing change
This is my first electric shaver and I must say it's brilliant, I havn't had a shaving rash since I've had it and it cuts as close as my old razors, highly recommended.

Highly recommended
As usual with Amazon, it arrived the next day. Only had this shaver for a week now. I wet shave when I have the time or going out and use a foil shaver when off to work. This shaver is far better than any other foil shaver in the past and as close as a blade/wet shave. Properly cleaned under hot water and use in the shower. Add to these the gel and you get a brilliant shave.
