Does the job but requires the manual
I was looking for a simple, cheap watch with a fabric strap for the gym, and in this regard this Casio watch does a perfect job. It is sturdy enough for the gym and can take a sweat or a rinse without problems.

I would give it 5 stars but I have to say it is quite complex to use, I'm still set to Summer time as I've misplaced the manual somewhere and can't remember the combination of keys for the hands. I tried all I could think of but there are so many functions that I never found the right one. It's a good thing if you're willing to learn the manual by rote, but if like me you're looking for a trouble-free, simple watch, then maybe this one is not for you.

Cheap stuff
This watch looks and feels extremely cheap. The light on the watch can at best be described as primitive. Take my advice and stay away from this watch...

A nightmare to adjust
I wanted a watch that kept accurate time and told me the date - nothing more. This one looked good and was cheap. It keeps good time and is reliable - once you've managed to set it up. And therein lies the problem: you need to set aside a long time to figure out the instructions and adjust it. Far too many functions, far too fiddly to work. I wish I'd bought a sundial.
