Yes you can alter the bracelet, quit easily in fact.
I wanted a cheap digital watch for work and this was just what I was looking for so I read the reviews. 2 of these reviews stated that there was no adjustment, but I didn't believe this as I have never owned a watch that I couldn't adjust myself, so I ordered it.
The watch arrived today and checking the inside of the bracelet confirmed that it is indeed adjustable. In fact there are 9 links that can be removed. You will see little arrows engraved on the inside face of the bracelet, pointing to holes. If you look carefully you will see a little pimple, to the outside, behind this is a slot (it actually doesn't look like a slot but appears to be a "line", that is the forward edge of the slot). Take a miniture screwdrive and force down behind this "line", into the slot and leaver the locking tab out. Obviously you need a screwdriver that will fit int this slot and it does take some pressure to get the locking lug to move. I placed my watch on a mouse mat to protect it. If, like me, you need to take out 2 links remove one from each side of the locking tri-fold clasp. To make life easier leave the links closest to the locking clasp in place, otherwise you will have to try and remove the pins, which I think, is infinately more dificult. Taking out 2 links, one from each side, took me less than ten minutes and the strap now fits perfectly.
For the price this watch has everything that you could want in a digital watch, and more. It is quite chunky, which I like and looks pretty good too. I like the automatic light function and setting the time etc is easy (as any other digital watch).

Does what is says on the tin
This does what it says on the tin. For the money it is really good. It is not a premium product but it is not meant to be. Also despite other reviews, the strap is adjustable, it is a bit fiddly otherwise not a problem
