Not as good as expected
I've been wearing CAT boots every winter for more than a decade and they are more comfortable than these trainers.

These are significantly less good than the Merrells they replaced.

The finish shows no attention to detail with some unfinished/ fraying edges at the top and uneven tension from the bottom lace-holes.

BUT they were dirt cheap.

Beware sizing problem
Good make, feel quite light, so only time will tell how well they last as cheaper light trainers available have quite a short life.

One thing to beware of which I've experienced with CAT trainers before: their sizing seems unreliable. I ordered UK size 9 (Eu 43) but they were actually equivalent to UK 8 on delivery. I changed them for UK 10 through Amazon and those fit ok - if a little snugly. It depends whether you like foot-gloves or a sloppy fit, I suppose.

A straight swap via Amazon was unavailable for some reason so I had to pay again. Amazon then deducted a handling charge from the initial refund; I complained and received a further refund to bring it up to the proper amount. All hassle... but the shoes are good.
