    Grill Pan4
After seasoning the grill pan i cooked a steak, what a difference, it was easy to use and i found the steak a lot more juicy as the juices were sealed in, great buy.

Old school cooking at its best5
I was dithering as to but a plain cast iron pan or an expensive enamalled one. In the end after reading up on things i decided to give the more frugle option a go. The pan has lived up to all my expectations with any problems i've experienced being my own fault. Seasoning was a slightly smelly process but not too hard, just make sure you use a meatal scourer to make the key. When cook remember to be brave and only turn the food once it hase been sufficiently seared to become loose on the pan or you will be swearing about stuck food, a hard cleaning job and a possibly re-seasoning job.

Its not my cup of tea. Glad its only costing me £72
I was looking for a grill pan that offers a chargrill looking food. Prior to purchasing this I had done numerous search on the net and discovered that cast iron get lots of good reviews when it comes to taste and price is pretty cheap so I thought I gave it a go.

Pros: For the taste part I agree. It is tasty when cooked on the cast iron grill pan.

    Cons:
1.Its heavy though without putting anything in it. thats why its not my cup of tea. I am only 5ft and I struggle to lift this sometimes that it worries me that I might crack my ceramic hob. (Yes, its ok to cook on the ceramic hob so long as you dont drag the pan on it).
2.Cleaning and seasoning. I noticed that if I left it in the sink with water in it, it gets rusty quickly. Then have got to get on with the seasoning thingy. thin rub of oil inside out the pan and put in the heated oven for an 1 hour. For this, I realised that it aint my cup of tea going thru all these processes plus the weight of the product. That sort of put me off.

This is the heaviest item I have in my cookware collection. So I have tried and tested it and unfortunately it is not my preference.
