Synopsis
With her cheerful nature, inquiring mind, and colourful fashion sense, Nickelodeon's adorable bilingual heroine DORA THE EXPLORER has charmed both pre-school-age children and their parents alike. Designed to simulate a computer game, the animated series follows the cute little Latina girl, her monkey pal Boots, and their anthropomorphic cohorts Map and Backpack as they set out on problem-solving adventures that encourage interaction and physical activity while teaching simple concepts such as counting, logic skills, and basic Spanish. This volume features animated tricks and treats in two special Halloween episodes: in 'Boo!', Dora and Boots fly by broomstick through a spooky pumpkin patch to help a cute little monster get back home; and in 'The Missing Piece', the winsome duo hunt for a wizard's missing magic wand.

Misleading3
Don't be fooled into thinking that this is a brand new feature length episode of Dora, it is in fact four episodes that have been on TV; Boo!, The Missing Piece, To The Monkey Bars and The Big Storm. Disappointing but will be enjoyed anyway.

My 2 1/2 year old niece being a massive Dora fan already I knew I couldnt go wrong with this - it didnt disappoint - It is educational and she does interact with the various challenges / songs - only downside is im not the biggest fan of Dora's voice ! :)

Doesn't work in Japan, although it is Region 23
Bought this for my family in Japan, which is Region 2. Put the DVD in and it doesn't work. Amazon sent a replacement, assuming that the DVD is defective, same results.
