Synopsis
More mysterious adventures from the pen of Agatha Christie, featuring everyone's favourite Belgian super sleuth, Hercule Poirot. In MRS. MCGINTY'S DEAD, Poirot is talked in to investigating the barbaric murder of an old woman, seemingly motivated by financial gain. However, as is usually the case, all is not as not as clear cut as it seems. CAT AMONG THE PIGEONS takes at Meadowbank School For Girls, where a killer is at large. In THIRD GIRL, a young woman seeks out Poirot to investigate a crime she believes she has committed. But just as she sparks his interest, the woman disappears, leaving him to attempt to uncover her identity. The set is completed with 'Appointment with Death'. A must-own for any Poirot fan.

Another excellent series of Poirot
I'll leave others to write a full review - this is just a quick note to anyone thinking of purchasing the set, to inform them that it contains 'Mrs McGinty's Dead', 'Cat Among the Pigeons', 'Third Girl' and 'Appointment With Death' (the latter has not, as yet, been broadcast in the UK). I know it has been a point of confusion among Poirot fans whether the fourth episode would be included in the set - I can confirm (having seen images of the back cover) that it is indeed included. Hope this helps!

It has subtitles!
Just want everyone to know that this dvd has subtitles. I don't know why amazon.co.uk is so lousy when it comes to letting customers know, so that's why I tell you instead.

THE LITTLE GREY CELLS ARE BACK IN ACTION!!!!!!!!!
Poirot is back and in 4 high quality episodes of mystery and intrigue.
These new episodes are filled with great direction and style and are very strong stories. The 4th disc features APPOINTMENT WITH DEATH and is the best version of this mystery i have seen, filled with great actors and lovely locations.
All in all these 4 stories are some of the best Poirot's so far and you'd be mad to miss them.
Let's hope David Suchet get's to film the remaining few.
