The Stereo Expander spreads the game audio to provide a "wider" effect than normal stereo, almost as if it originates from outside of the headphones

This is just great
This headset is brilliant espcially if you like a late night game or two and dont want to wake the rest of the house but still want to hear whats going on around espicially for online multiplayer games such as 'socom cod' The sound quality is amazing saved my life a few times now on socom when i now hear people creeping up behind me.

They chat because it is through USB is crystal clear compared to bluetooth what a diffrence.

The cables are very long you connect it up using the playstation cable that comes with the ps3 I have my sound goto my TV through HDMI and sound goto the headset via the red and white cables from the original ps cable which also has a pass through so I can still connect to hifi at the same time so dont neeed to play about with wires.

You just set your ps3 to have multi sound output so it can also goto your tv at the same time so you dont need to change settings all the time.

Iv found since I bought this headset I use it even when i dont need to be quiet as it gives you such an advantage this may be diffrent if you have surround sound set up in your house I dont.

Would reccomend for any gamer that wants a headset with built in chat.

Has volume slider so you can easily change the volume of game and chat seperatley and also has a switch to mute your own mic.

Sits very comfortably.

Turtle beach P21 review
Very good sound quality, picks up many small sounds that I was missing before. Yes there is hiss but only when using the mic for chat and no game is playing, to remove just turn the game volume down and job done. Wide switch is not much good but you do not need it as sound is good without, the bass adjustment is good just find the right level for each game or music and it add good atmospher. Build quality is good and very light so great for longer playing sessions, some may feel they are to light, I personally like it they are very comfortable. The in line control box could have been made to feel more sturdy but it does the job well and clips neatly onto your belt or pocket. Overall very pleased with the purchase, the P21 is great for games and music.

fantastic headset. amazing quality(dont know what that other person was talking about) cancels out background noise and you can set it to have game sounds coming through as well as voice chat, brilliant headset
