Due to the wooden handles, the knives or the board are not dishwasher safe, therefore we advise that they are washed by hand with a mild detergent and hand dried to keep them in tiptop condition. True Sheffield Quality
Aesthetically this set looks like a real quality item. The quality of the Sheffield steel knives really shines through. A must for any cheese lover.

buyer beware
Beware, I recently bought this cheese board and I'm sending it right back! The bottom layer of wood was unfinished and split. The inside compartments do not match those in the picture. Basically they is one massive gap in each draw.
The surface was marked and looked used.
I think the popularity of this item has resulting in rushed shoddy workmanship and serious corners being cut and I'm so disappointed!
