    Ornithopter.5
Having read all the previous reviews, I felt I needed to add my own. I have a fairly small lounge and manage to fly it around fairly easily; unlike another reviewer, I find the turning circle to be very small and capable of very tight turns. The only flying machine capable of tighter turns would be a helicopter. I have also noted that most adults as well as children tend to think that everything should be unbreakable and if something does not go easily, then using excessive force is the answer; inevitably this breaks things and then they blame it on the poor or weak construction.
An ornithopter by its nature has to have its weight kept to a minimum and the body is made of polystyrene. There are two straps holding it securely in place in the box; cutting these straps first enables the i-bird to be removed without excessive force and thereby breaking it. Also a flying machine of any sort has to be made as light as possible and not built like a tank. It follows that any flying machine will only withstand so many crashes before something breaks; if you want to buy something tougher then get a car. Giving this to a child and expecting them to immediately fly it like an ace pilot without smashing it is living in cloud cuckoo land. The instructions say adult supervision is required!!!
I have had no problem with my i-bird and managed to fly it on the first attempt, following the simple instructions. It is extremely easy to control and almost flies itself with only a minimal input from the controls.
This is such a great machine for the price, I have ordered another one as a spare because everything wears out eventually and do not want to find that when it does, I cannot get another one.
If you want a surprisingly easy to fly flying machine which is very economical on batteries, charges up quickly and is great fun, then this is it.
By the way, it is infra red not radio controlled which is why it is not a good idea to fly it outside; sunlight will affect its reception.

    Great Bird !5
When I got and then did fly to make it do loops.
My son spends over 3 hours flying a day and loves very much.
We'll got another color and fly them togethr.

    Broke within a few days2
I bought one of these for my son for Christmas. It was his favourite toy for all of five days before the fragile wings broke. His cousin also got one for Christmas and that suffered the same fate a couple of days later. For some reason they give you a spare tail rudder in the box whereas what you really need are a full set of spare wing struts. Poor.
