First rate
This is a first rate waffle iron. Well designed, aesthetically pleasing and so far the waffles it has served up are delicious. Very happy to recommend it!
Excellent waffle maker!
I received one of these waffle makers as a gift for Christmas. It is very sturdy, cooks lovely waffles and we have been having plenty of these since Christmas, even freezing then toasting the left-over waffles as a quick breakfast on school mornings when don't have enough time to whip them up from scratch. This waffle maker comes with a small recipe book with a handful of waffle recipes to get you started; I especially like the cinammon brown sugar waffles it suggested. The only reason why I did not give this review 5 stars is because it has temperature/browning levels of 1-6; perhaps it is just my particular waffle maker but I have never needed to go beyond level 2 for cooking; waffles are quite golden by then, so not sure how dry/overcooked level 6 would make them. However, this is a very good waffle maker to use and I am happy to recommend it.
Tasty waffles
I finally settled on this waffle maker after looking around for ages. I found there really isn't much choice on the market and couldn't find a single one on the high street. Maybe its more of an American thing and not that popular here. I decided I didn't want to be cooking one waffle after the other on a single plated machine so I opted for this model and after using it I am more than happy with my decision. The waffles were cooked to perfection and very tasty and I was pleased I had decided to buy one that makes four waffles in one go. It does come with a basic recipe book and on average the recipes make about 20, but I halved the recipe as I didn't want that many. I froze the waffles that weren't used and they still taste great re-heated in the toaster. The machine bleeps when it is warmed up and ready to cook the waffles and bleeps when they are cooked according to the level of browning (1-6) you have set it at.
The only slight draw back with this machine is the storage with its size(it takes up almost twice the table top space of an average double toasted sandwich maker) If you have somewhere to store it or are happy with it on show then go for it, you won't be dissappointed with the waffles it produces.
