Customer Reviews
One of the most gorgeous pair of heels a girl can own!
The title says it all really. Irregular Choice have done it again with these beautiful shoes. Both colour options are stunning, but I find the black a little easier to co-ordinate with outfits. The pink can sometimes be a little too pink. However, the shoes are amazingly comfortable and although I do now have orange heels from the insole, I don't care, because I have these shoes on so much no one sees my feet!
Ladies beware: With this pair of shoes on don't expect people to be looking anywhere else but down. It's difficult not to draw attention with these shoes. I've found out that they're also rather sturdy and good at rebuffing the normal scuffs and hazards of day-to-day heel wearing!
I couldn't recommend a more beautiful pair of girly shoes. It's a joy to own yet another pair of Irregular Choice. :)
pretty but not as striking as you'd think, and very uncomfortable
once you put them on, these shoes are not as striking as you would think. Lots of the beautiful and intricate detail is no longer visible from a (standing/walking) distance and view point - and really who will look at a pair of shoes as closely up as the web photos? If you want to make an impact, definitely get the pink version. The black ones are too tame.
also they are extremely uncomfortable, about a half a size too short yet a good a whole size too wide. Very very poor arch support. This combined with up-turned toes made them practically impossible to walk in for me. Also the beads & sequins go round the back to the inner part of the shoes so are in danger to snag / fall off as you walk.
having said all that, I suppose for a special (maybe sit-down only) occasion they will be OK. Personally I can't bring myself to return them because, as unforgiving and unpractical as they are, they also are just too pretty to part with - a work of art!
