Krups Kettle
Fast boil. Clear on switch with blue neon indicator. Level fill panel indicator is clear from both sides.
Easy to fill from a water filter jug as the lid comes off entirely and is simple to lock on.
Small footprint on worktops and base is very slim. Spare cord length is held securely in base.
Very much like the spout cover and release button under the handle grip - this cuts out steam escaping into the room - and would make it ideal for open plan Kitchens, Studios or even the Bedroom.
Looks smart in any environment and the black finish will keep its looks.
Positive handle grip and spout cover would make it a good candidate as a kettle for people with impared mobility. I'm not an expert in this field so it would need checking out, but seems worthy of a trial.

Seems very nice...
The trigger operated spout cover could be awkward for elderly or mobility impaired people but it is an excellent way of preventing steam from escaping into the room and would greatly lessen a spillage if the kettle got knocked over. The 'on' switch has kind of a rubbery feel that some might say isn't very 'positive' but I quite like it. The switch has a nice clear on light set into it though. You'd buy this kettle for its looks but so far it's performing excellently.

A very irritating purchase..
I purchased this kettle from Amazon last summer. The 'on' switch on the kettle was never very positive - see other people's reviews too - and now it has got so bad I have to stand and hold the switch down to boil the kettle - a ridiculous state of affairs considering the price of the kettle. So I am not happy with this kettle, and buyers should be aware of this obviously common fault.
